Scripture instructed and described elements of the church that should work for all people, in all places, in all times. As a church of House Churches, we try to incorporate the following in to our structure as we have learned from the church in Scripture, throughout history, and around the world.
Decentralized & Distributed Leadership
Identified, trained, and empowered pastors, fulfilling all the qualifications listed in Timothy and Titus for an elder, carrying out all the functions of a pastor, and entrusted by the Church to shepherd people.
Diverse-Discipleship Community
Cross-generational, diverse gatherings of people in a home who share a meal, meet each other’s needs, and help one another grow in their faith.
Common Oversight, Identity, and Mission
House Churches are overseen by a plurality of Elders, supported and unified in their identity and mission.
