We are a Church of
House Churches.
Scripture instructed and described elements of the church that should work for all people, in all places, in all times.
The church in Scripture, throughout history, and around the world practiced:
- DISTRIBUTED LEADERSHIP: Identified, trained, and empowered pastors, fulfilling all the qualifications listed in Timothy and Titus for an elder, carrying out all the functions of a pastor, and entrusted by the Church to shepherd people.
- DECENTRALIZED COMMUNITY: Cross-generational, diverse gatherings of people in a home who share a meal, meet each other’s needs, and help one another grow in their faith.
- COMMON OVERSIGHT, IDENTITY, AND MISSION: House Churches are overseen by a plurality of Elders, supported and unified in their identity and mission.
If you are interested in joining a House Church, please fill out the contact form or talk with someone involved in one.
