"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
Galatians 6:2
Scripture instructed and described elements of the church that should work for all people, in all places, in all times. As a church of House Churches, we try to incorporate the following in to our structure as we have learned from the church in Scripture, throughout history, and around the world. At house church you can expect people of different ages, backgrounds, and experiences gathering to learn how to live the joyful life Jesus invites us in to. If you are interested in joining a house church please complete our survey below and we will connect you with a house church pastor.
DIVERSE DISCIPLESHIP COMMUNITY
Gathering geographically forces diversity. We are diverse generationally, socio-economically, culturally, ethnically, singles and marrieds, and in spiritual maturity, all living together in a family-like community. These scattered gatherings of people meet in a home, share a meal, meet each other’s needs, and help one another grow in their faith.
DISTRIBUTED PASTORAL LEADERSHIP
Beyond elevated and separated clergy, pastors from among the people in the congregation. A pastor available for all of the people who has been identified, trained, and empowered, fulfilling all the qualifications listed in Timothy and Titus for an elder, carrying out all the functions of a pastor, and entrusted by the Church to shepherd people.
DECENTRALIZED FROM PRIMARY PLACE & PRIEST
